In recent months Riverland Wine has been engaging with growers to rethink this season as not being ‘business as usual’. Part of the message has been to focus on your inputs and ultimately ‘to crop or not to crop, that is the question!’.
Riverland Wine Viticultural Committee Chair and CCW grower, Brett Rosenzweig, has made the wise or foolish decision to not crop some Shiraz and Cabernet in preparation for top working in the future. Brett outlined his thoughts at the recent Riverland Wine workshop and he has graciously shared his presentation material, including videos and gross margin spreadsheets with us.
